Campers, hikers and outdoor folk do you recommend i get a trangia or a gas burning stove?

I've bought a semi luxurious tent (you can stand up in it) to go on coast fishing trips and need a stove to cook fish and drinks etc, do you recommend the trangia or other. I used trangias at school and the big downside was how slow they were but above all would you say they were a good choice?
