Anyone with experience with bed bugs? or any bugs?

Ok so tonight i was laying down in my bed on my laptop when a little bug jumped on the screen. I tried to kill it once or twice and it jumped away but i finally was able to squish it before it left the screen. The big was roundish and after i squashed it it looked like there was some juice left on the screen. The whole room was dark so i didnt see it very good, but im just nervouse its bed bugs? i havent stayed anywhere lately and no one else has complained of bed bugs in my house , but im an extremely nervous person, does anyone know what kind of bug it could be? does it sound like a bed bug?
