Why did I get thrown out the restaurant?

My grandparents took me out for a meal at a really posh restaurant as a treat for good behaviour. There was nothing on the menu that liked so I asked the waiter if I could have a potato chip sandwich. Just bread and butter with chips squished between it. I was ordered to leave immediately, but my grandparents stayed and had lobster thermidor and caviar blinis. What did I do wrong?
