Whats the name of this 80s or 90s horror movie about a crazy family?

It's been forever since I've seen this movie and I can remember watching as a child (god forbid). All I can remember is it is a horror movie about a group of campers/hikers/backpackers that somehow meet a crazed family in the backwoods and are tortured. One scene in particular is one of the hikers had a baby and left the child in the bathtub to answer the phone and when she came back the baby had drowned...later in the movie the crazy family had her dead baby and were carrying it around like it was alive...very weird but it's killing me not knowing what the movie is called...can you help! thanks so much!
